Shipping & Handling
We may correct errors or inaccuracies and change or update information on this website at any time without notice, including prices and item availability. All sizes quoted are approximate. All prices listed are in Canadian dollars and all charges will be processed in Canadian dollars. All prices listed on this site are subject to confirmation. You agree to pay all charges payable for your order. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of items that you may buy. We also reserve the right to cancel orders at our discretion. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to deliver items as quickly as possible, and within the time indicated. However, we are not responsible for delivery delays beyond our control. We will do our best to notify users if delivery is delayed. All items are delivered by a third party, and delivery is governed by their shipping contracts. We reserve the right not to ship to certain addresses.
Please note: Many of our Online Gallery Shop items are not available immediately after purchase. Please check the product description for more details. When your item becomes available, an Exhibitions Staff Member will contact you to confirm pick up or arrange delivery and provide a shipping estimate at that time. Shipping and handling charges are the responsibility of the purchaser and will only be charged once your purchase has been shipped.
Can I Cancel My Order?
If you place an order and then decide to cancel it before the order has been processed and shipped, we will cancel your transaction. The Saskatchewan Craft Council reserves the right to charge an additional 10% restocking fee for cancelling an order.
Note that if your request to cancel an order is received after the item or items have been shipped, we cannot cancel the transaction and your account will be charged accordingly.
Can I Return My Order?
Saskatchewan Craft Council currently does not accept returns on any product sold through its Online Gallery or at our Saskatoon Gallery location.
What If My Order Is Damaged?
Occasionally an item or items may arrive at your location damaged. Sometimes the damage is obvious even before you open the package, at other times only after the package has been opened. Usually this is the result of a shipping mishap. SCC Staff have many years of experience packing and shipping items worldwide. Should breakage occur, it is up to the customer to file and pursue a claim with the shipper.
If your order is delivered to you with externally obvious damage, do not open the package. You may refuse to accept the package and have the carrier return the package to Saskatchewan Craft Council at no cost to you. If this should occur, please contact Saskatchewan Craft Council by phone or email within 24 hours to let us know that you refused shipment so we can make appropriate arrangements for receiving the return.
Should you choose to contact us by email, be sure to type “Damaged Order” in the subject line.
Security
The Saskatchewan Craft Council takes every precaution to protect your information. We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site. The Saskatchewan Craft Council Online Gallery was developed to support secure online purchasing through secure socket layer (SSL) technology using encryption, which provides a high level of security. All information that you provide during the shopping process is encrypted for your protection. We are committed to keeping your personal information (including your name, shipping address(es), email address, purchase history and banking information) private and secure. We store only your contact information and purchase history in our system. We do not store or record any banking or financial information. All financial information (credit card number, PIN, etc) that you enter is processed directly by Moneris and does not pass through our system. Although capturing this information is necessary for us to process and fulfill an order you place online, for your convenience, you may call us during business hours to place your order and provide this information to us over the phone.
About Fraud
Credit card fraud occurs when someone obtains your card information without your authorization or permission and uses it to make a purchase. We take precautions to carefully screen orders when they are made, and to prevent credit card fraud to the extent possible.
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must also immediately notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
About Your Email Address
We do NOT send unsolicited commercial email, otherwise known as “spam.” We do NOT send email marketing communications to a visitor-provided email address unless the intended recipient specifically opts in to receive such communications from us. We do NOT sell or rent our visitor or customer email addresses or make them available to other organizations for any purpose whatsoever.
If at any time you would like to stop future delivery of email from Saskatchewan Craft Council, please follow the unsubscribe instructions included at the bottom of each email communication we send, send an email to scc.newsletter@sasktel.net, or call us during business hours. Asking to be removed from Saskatchewan Craft Council’s email list will not prevent you from receiving email communications relating to any online order you place at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Online Gallery invitations to participate in surveys about your experiences on our online store, or other operational email communications if you have provided us with your email address.
About Your Telephone Numbers
Consumers who supply us with their telephone numbers online will only receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed with Saskatchewan Craft Council, including invitations to participate in surveys about their experiences with Saskatchewan Craft Council. We do NOT sell or rent our customer phone numbers or make them available to other organizations for any purpose whatsoever.
Use of Website
By accessing our website, you, the user, agrees to the terms and conditions the Saskatchewan Craft Council sets out here. These terms and conditions may change at our discretion and without notice. All orders and purchases made through this site are also governed by these terms and conditions. Use of and orders placed on this website are governed by the laws and the courts of the province of Saskatchewan, and by the applicable laws of Canada. What Information We Collect
We collect information volunteered by visitors, such as contact and payment information (i.e. name and address, telephone number, billing address) for the purpose of placing an order with us. We collect the email addresses of visitors who post messages to our blog, those who communicate with us via email, and those who submit their email addresses voluntarily, either to subscribe to an email newsletter or to receive information about their order. We do NOT sell or rent our visitor or customer email addresses or make them available to other organizations for marketing purposes.
What We Do With This Data
The information we collect is used to acknowledge and deliver items that customers order, to notify visitors who request specific information about updates to our website (i.e. new craft works in a specific category), and to contact visitors (with their permission) for our own marketing purposes. We work with reputable third parties to assist us in delivering services to you. In these instances, we will provide your personal information to third parties so that they can perform these services. Unless otherwise noted in this policy, all third parties with whom we work are governed by the privacy policy of Saskatchewan Craft Council.
