Marketing Guide for Contemporary Fine Craft in the United States

The Marketing Guide was commissioned by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) in 2002 as a result of consultations with the Canadian Crafts Federation (CCF).

This definitive source of information, for craftspersons interested in entering US markets or expanding their US exposure, features 30 pages of up-to-date advice on dealing with American markets, and includes profiles of some 140 American craft galleries that are interested in carrying Canadian work.

It's a bit complicated, but it's worth it. A hard bound copy is also available by calling the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) in Ottawa at 1-800-267-8376 and select 'Publications' from the phone menu. That will transfer you to a live operator who will mail you a copy of the Guide.
