Pottery Studio Equipment for sale

Helen Cooke is closing down her studio and has the following items for sale:

• Skutt Kiln: $250.00
  Model number 181, fires to cone 6, 115/ 230-208 V. AC, 20 A, 4600 W. Still fires to cone 6 but when moved will need some work (front 6 bricks on top ring should probably be replaced before the element is replaced. New element included. Four full shelves, in good condition included. The kiln is a two ring model, internal measurement is 18 1/2 inches deep and 17 1/2 inches across, referred to as an 18 inch kiln in catalogues.
  
  
• Ohaus Triple Balance Beam Scale: $50.00 (new price is $200+)
  2660 gm capacity, with two 1 kilo wts. included.
  
  
• Portable airborne dust filtering system (by emerson electric from Lee Valley): $50.00
  Model no. AB250-01. The air cleaner is 26 inches long and 16 inches tall and can be ceiling mounted.
  
  
• Sixteen screens and frames for kids paper making workshops 8.5 x 10 inch: Free - give away
  
  
• Three studio shelving units 4 feet long x 27 inches wide x 68 inches tall with five shelves of varying spaces: Make me an offer.
  Also four workbench height units with one shelf, 4 feet long, 24 inch wide (1/4 sheet plywood size) sturdy units, built to last a lifetime, all painted and in good condition.

Sandstone Kiln For Sale

Sandstone Kiln for sale - likely from the late 70's, early 80's, 30" diameter, and as you can see is in excellent condition. Fires to cone 7, 230 volts, 42.1 amps (can't quite read the KW). Also there are 2 full shelves and at least 2 or 3 half shelves, stilts and some cones. Asking $300 o.b.o.

Potters who want to make a glaze, often have to buy quantities of materials beyond what is called for in the glaze recipe. This can result in a surplus of materials that may/may not get used again, storage of these materials taking up valuable studio space, and most of all, the cost of keeping inventory that you are not using on a regular basis.

CERAM CANADA will make your glaze for you! You submit a glaze recipe, and it will be measured, mixed, and delivered to you in the DRY state. You add the water, sieve ,mix and use to your own specifications. CERAM CANADA is not responsible for finished results.

Send us your glaze recipe and the total amount you require (in grams), and CERAM CANADA will send a detailed cost estimate to custom make your glaze for you! Prices of materials are in accordance with the current material price list of TREE (Saskatoon, SK Ceramic Supplier), using the 2.5 kg cost. Handling and delivery/shipping are added costs.
