Silk Paintings and Soft Furnishings by Susan Clark von Saskatoon

Drawing her inspiration from gardens and flowers, Susan Clark von Saskatoon makes botanical drawings en plein air, later transferring them into opulent, colourful silk paintings. She uses these to create one-of-a-kind upholstered art chairs and soft furnishings, embellished with quilting, embroidery, pearls and beads. In addition to the reception, Susan will be at the gallery on August 10, 11 and 12 - please drop by to meet her then.
