Lise Olson
Lise approaches her carving with enthusiasm, passion and dedication. These are qualities that she brings to everything she does. She has always enjoyed working with her hands, baking, sewing and crafting. Showing meticulous attention to detail, her joy is in seeing what the finished piece looks like. Having some aboriginal ancestry, stone carving has given her a “voice” to express those things that she has long felt within. Lise takes great pleasure in sharing these “Living Stones” that they might speak.

Eagle Chief
$840.00
Soapstone 6 x 5 x 3 ˝ 04/11/05 This carving came to me bit by bit. I started carving the eagles head, once I was done then the face came to me. The talons were the last objects to come out from the stone. I carved this piece to show the importance of the eagle.
