I have always loved creating and have explored many mediums. Six years ago I started training in architectural stone carving and hand carved lettering, and feel I have put my own Canadian twist on traditional European stone masonry. From a simple garden or memorial stone, to a cornerstone, elaborate bench or fireplace surround — imagine the possibilities! Using mallet and chisels, I carve slate, limestone, sandstone and soapstone, striving for excellence in craftsmanship and design.
